with small. tree-free facial tissues are made from sustainably grown bamboo fibres. These tissues have minimal impact on nature while also matching the absorbancy and softness of lesser sustainable wood pulp alternatives. 80 sheets per box.

  • Super soft + absorbant. Bamboo fibers are soft and strong, and are often likened to cotton fibre.
  • Eco friendly whitening compounds; no bleaching chemicals.  
  • Swift biodegradability. When bamboo tisues are disposed of, they decompose more rapidly than their wood pulp counterparts. The shorter decomposition time is partly due to bamboo's natural composition, with shorter fibers that break down more easily. As a result, bamboo tissues reduce the strain on landfills.
  • Recyclable card boxes.

This means that with small has been third-party verified within the internationally recognised standards of Toitū Envirocare that their operational and supply chain carbon emissions have been neutralized through purchasing carbon credits that help plant trees and install solar energy stations.

Sustainably sourcing of highly renewable bamboo (plant, not a tree) - Bamboo is the world's fastest growing plant and may be harvested in less than five years, whereas renewable forests have to wait 30-50 years to cut down new trees. Since bamboo grows densely, a large colony of this short-rooted plant may be cultivated in a small space, requiring less land to be cleared to plant bamboo. Bamboo can also be harvested without endangering local wildlife. Bamboo can be grown on five of the world's eight continents. This is excellent news as global climate change complicates weather forecasting.
